Tiny Finch Fob #000

Birds are such beautiful creatures, and so interesting to observe.  In this small design I've tried to capture the essence of the Goldfinch.  Most of the embroidery is cross-stitch worked 'over one', but there are small amounts of other, more interesting stitches to make embroidering the scissors' fob fun - visually and texturally.

Borrowing a technique from Hedebo embroidery, a tiny double jump ring will be covered with buttonhole/blanket stitches, and will be attached to the top of the Finch Fob.  A very fine twisted cord will be made and used to tie the fob through a finger-hole of a new pair of scissors.  Complete finishing directions are included, as always.
